it's been too @#$% long a week already and it's only Monday.
WHEN do the students get back so nobody else can drop major malfunctioning hardware into our laps to make functional "before the students get back"?!
On the upside, I got a raise today. First time in years... last year everyone's salaries were frozen, the year before that I was laid off, and the four years before that I was working for a company that was heading towards going bankrupt... so I'm glad to have the raise to look forward to anyway. ^__^;;
I'm slowly getting through the God Child 1-4 chapter. I only seem to get time to translate a couple pages at a time, and I have to go back and figure out what was going on, but I'm almost there... only about 8 more pages to finish...
September should be SO much less stressful, I hope... I keep vainly hoping there would be some way to take 3rd year Japanese, but it just plain doesn't work with my work schedule, so maybe they might possibly let me take it as independent study... in my dreams... anyhow...
auuuuuugggghhh!! chapter 3 is out?! That means everybody's officially waiting on me now! aaaauuuugggghhhh!! @_@;;;;;;;; I'm sorry! I'm sorry....
I've only got four pages left, I'll try to get them done at lunch...

hey wow, no worries on the chaps being translated and stuff. The only reassurence i need is that its will be done one day...i dont care if i have to wait a month..i can be patient.

ohhh cool a fish that eats out of your hand. i one time had fish....but they commited suicide and jumped out of the tank x_x. and then my other fish had babies...but the daddy ate them x_X

Congrats on the raise! Hehe, I'm like tsukiyama, no job for me (but I'm looking to get one). Although I'm an assistant at my school's library for one class period and they have me do all sorts of stuff. Type up lists, move tables, re-shelve books, straighten shelves, wash dishes, count rolls of paper. Hey, it beats having a regular class ^^
Take your time, there's no big deadline ^^
Hey, no worries ^^. (says me, who owns GC books 1-4, snerk). I'm sure no one minds waiting. Well, some people probably do...but you can just ignore them.
And congratulations on the raise! I'm still officialy unemployed and living off benefits XP. I /really/ need to get out more.

Oh and this has nothing to do with anything, but I got a new fish yesterday! She's a beautiful red and white giant oranda. She eats out of my hand!!I dont care she's a girl, I'm calling her Sekiya after another oranda that died recently, (who was named after the uber-camp yakuza in Wild Adapter). I'm taking loads of photos, as if she's a new baby or something. ^__^;;

@Tsukiyama: Don't worry about it, Sekiya is usually a last name anyway, and first names are the gender-specific part. (Hypothetically speaking, Sekiya Ichiro/first child (male), Sekiya Niko/second child (female) (or "grin" if you used a different writing of it... ^_~))

Re: Sekiya as an appropriate name for a girl fish - I've got this tradition of naming all my pets after minekua characters. It's just funny. Especially when Tokito is currently trying to hump Nobuto (hey, I have a gay fish o_0). And Sekiya's eating her(his!) own poo. Crossover pairings you just dont get in the doujinshi, eh? Actually, that's probably a good thing. Kanzeon gave Sanzo parasites? Toki has head-rot...Eiw.
Heheh. I used to be a careers librarian - filing job andertisement leaflets and telling people what careers they should go for. Muhahahar. The power. And once they let me put stickers on food at the university to advertise the newspaper or something. 'Hairnet jobs' are probably about the highest level of responsibility they ever give me. ^__^ I filled in an aplication form to do part time data entry for the police but they havent got back to me...
Okay. I'll just shut up now, shall I?

Anyway, I'm a student (in college, no less) and I just started back at school today (August 20). Most schools go back by the end of August or early September, though. So it won't be too much longer! [img]biggrin.gif[/img]
By the way, I wanted to say that I absolutely love Blood Hound and thank you so so so so much (And Carole Ann, of course) for working on this project for all of us japanese-challenged people. I appreciate it. [img]wink.gif[/img]
